Nock region – mountain pasture majesty
The Nock Mountains are a natural stage for adventures of a unique quality. Whether you are alone, part of a group, or with a ranger and guide, the gentle mountain world of the Nock Mountains biosphere park invites you to discover nature any time of year.
In the summer, the biosphere park and nearby towns have their own adventure programmes that bring children and adults closer to nature. In addition, there are numerous excursion destinations, info points, and rest points in the Nock Mountains.
Since its opening, the Nockalm Road is a popular excursion destination, by car, motorcycle, bicycle or by foot. Along with numerous impressive natural landscapes, you will also find many inns, rest stops, themed paths and playgrounds. The Nockalm Road runs through the middle of the park but does not disturb the beautiful natural surroundings.
